He approaches, crouching down to grab the twine he’d used for his own, wrapping it around the feet of the bird and attaching it to the other, taking a bit of a cloth to wrap around it to prevent a blood trail that might lead to them as they continue on. His gaze flits over to her, an arm outstretched to pull her into him. “It’ll work.” He assures her, trying to squeeze her shoulder gently. “Even if it wasn’t clean, you still got it.” A soft smile to that.
