Just as he kept the shawl wrapped around her, she kept it over him. Losing it now would be brutal, a cruel punishment of ice and wind to invade their oasis of warmth. His arms were a haven to linger in, the strong hands a tickling, soothing taunt on her back. Maea pressed into them, shifting and angling as they moved, clay in his hands to be molded as he wished.
