Wessex's biopulse was well-timed: both the Hels on the ground found themselves stunned. That made it easy for Rexanna to grab one and stuff it into the cage. However, although Nate was able to get a firm grip on the other, he'd made no move to put it in the cage so he just stood there holding it hint hint: put it in the cage next round.
However, their projectiles failed to bring down another Hel. Wessex's arrow grazed one, which squawked in outrage, but kept flying. Shockingly, given Amun's disorientation, his rock came close to hitting one. Sam, however, perhaps because his heart wasn't in it, missed terribly.
Seeing this, the potter growled in annoyance. "I'm fine," he told Rexanna. It came out short and clipped, and he raised his right hand and fired a flash bang straight up, hoping to knock at least one of the flock to the ground.
