Honestly, she has no idea what’s going on. Firework after firework misses, and she hisses a small amount in her frustration. This time, she reaches for a different kind of magic – reaching for a flickering flame of the exploded firework she’d shot up earlier, shifting a small amount to focus and concentrate on perhaps distracting a Hel into chasing the flame down toward the ground where they could pounce on it.
She's running out of options, but it's clear she's incredibly frustrated now by the way these hadn't quite worked the way she'd wanted them to. Internally, she makes a quiet note to train and practice it more, hoping that might make some sort of difference.
Rex uses her fire magic to try and make something that might entice the Hel to follow it to the ground where they can grab it or knock it out!
