Safrin

The goddess is shocked into silence as Sunjata speaks, her eyes flitting swiftly to Amalia as he names her part of...well, the offering. In other times her reaction might have been swift, but these waters are murky and uncertain. Safrin cannot simply be as vindictive and quick to act as she has been in centuries past.

"Amalia, when you are given a list of ingredients to make a cake, isn't it so that those ingredients are used in the baking?" The goddess glances between Sunjata, Deimos, and Amalia. "Sword and Shield. In the construction of my shrine in the fields...were not all components used up in its making?"
