[God Quest] a stream too shallow

Like a key in a lock, she opened to him in the wake of those words. Drifting against him, softly at first as if the choice was made for her by the current, her thighs pressed against him, dainty ankles linked somewhere behind his back. Safrin's lips opened as if she might devour his, legs tightening that she might lift herself higher, so small was she in his arms. She breathed in the breath he released, fingers curling into his hair, dragging out the last moments of tension, of worry and wonder he might feel as to whether all of this was going to happen, or if it was a dream from which he was about to wake. "If you love me, then love me Ronin."  Ronin would find his goddess tasted quite unlike anything he could have fathomed before this moment. Her kiss was like the way peppermint makes even tepid water seem freezing, her touch bright against his skin. She was sweet in a way one could never grow tired of, but would instead crave and seek out again and again and again. Her tongue was small and soft inside his mouth, her fingers pressing against the back of his head to draw him to her. Back arched that he might feel the supple shape of her body, she moaned a note against his lips that he'd feel reverberating through his bones. Safrin
