He had staggered to his feet in a fit of defiance and passion, and now he found himself anchored to Safrin so profoundly that he didn’t think he would ever want anything quite as much as this again. She moved against him and he bucked into her, his muscles screaming with electric fire that raced through the backs of his thighs and up into the base of his spine. Ronin mumbled something against her neck; a curse, a plea, a promise - who knew at to his point? - and at her command and direction his feet moved them forward... and right back into the pool.
The sudden weightlessness was conflicted by the way they were still locked together, Ronin’s thrusts given infinitely more leverage as he found the side of the pool to brace his goddess against. Already his body begged for release, and the sight of her body dancing with each pound and stroke of his hips was something that bards would make ballads about, he was sure. Still he held on, through stubbornness of some divine whim - because she had said to love her, and he wasn’t done yet.
