[God Quest] a stream too shallow

Just as Ronin would tell himself it was all a dream and that he was blameless for that fact, similarly Safrin would tell herself that his words hadn't been coerced, but had instead been freely given. For the both of them though, the truth was somewhere darkly lost in between. For the next few moments however, there would only be light. In learning to draw, one of the most basic concepts is rendering perspective from a horizon line: a highway that starts wide and then bleeds to a single dot to indicate distance.
