Letting out a huff of humorless and bitter laughter, Loren shook his head at Melita's response. "I hate to be the one to tell you this, but fights aren't fair." Then, though, his eyes narrowed and any hint of teasing and mocking slid away, to be replaced by a chilly anger. "Of course, you could always just channel something again." His words were hard and his eyes were positively frigid.
