Alright, well, the nods were encouraging, though there wasn't that much affection in Amalia's movements. Granted, Amun wasn't that great at reading animal body language, but he could tell that much. However, at least she'd agreed to a spar. As she leapt for him, he darted to the side, and swung his sword in the path of her charge.
Unfortunately, he hadn't realized it was a feint, and managed to strep right into the path of her adjusted attack. Eyes widening for just a moment before he was bowled over, he fell to the ground, losing his grip on his sword as he did. Frantically, he tried to use the momentum from her strike to throw her to the side so he could scramble away.
