Rance was on his way to where he was supposed to meet Jigano when he came upon the herd of deer bounding through the forest. Running from the other hunters, perhaps? Either way, there wasn’t much a single raven could do by himself, he mused ruefully. Maybe if some of the larger predators had been nearby….
He caught sight of something pale moving through the trees even as Jigano’s amused query came across the bond. Dragons? Yeah, but I’ve never see—what the actual fuck?! Rance croaked an alarmed cry, back-pedaling midair as the fox was replaced by something else, something unlike and mortal or Hidden beast he’d crossed paths with. In his unconscious haste to put space between them, he arches past the deer, perhaps even spooking them further? Not that a raven was groing to be much compared to a fucking dragon.
Rance is startled by the dragon. He darts past the deer and might startle them by accident, making it easier for Jigano.
