OLIVER
Growling low and deep, Oliver would reopen his eyes only when he knew that the bird wasn't close to his face. The sounds alone gave hint to the fact that the male was still close and that the rest of the birds had fled. With his ears pinned against his head, he gave a predatory growl towards the bird before he pounced at it, aiming to sink his claws into the bird. It would be the first time that he had truly used his claws, allowing them to retract and hopefully pierce into the body of the bird.
No words would be sent through the bond, but anyone nearby would feel the emotions course through the bond. A predatory edge that hadn't yet been seen through Oliver, one that had only been hinted at when he fought against the worms. He was less trying to protect those he cared about and was rather motivated to kill. To take down this bird and bring it back as a prize for everyone else to enjoy. He was going to bring this bird back. No doubt about it.
