He wades far deeper, letting the water roll over his feet and calves, not tentative in the way he’d confidently charge into the water until he was at least waist deep, turning to glance to Loren with a wider smile – clear that this was his element, even if he weren’t Abandoned with it coursing through his veins. It was a part of him all the same. “So what do you know so far?”
