“And I never wanted that spiteful marriage to begin with.” At least he’s honest. But then he inhales deeply, tattooed shoulders rising and falling as he focuses on the Shield. “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be back at the Grounds where Deimos can keep you in his sight before you go trying to sacrifice yourself again?” It’s a low blow but he can’t particularly help it. He’s not feeling like playing nice today.
