Maea was a stubborn girl. Not in a very good mood either. She could keep protesting the tea, keep refusing it. But... Her eyes narrowed as she looked back at Loren, nostrils flaring slightly. Very reluctantly, Maea raised it to her lips and took a sip. Scalded her tongue, and winced.
"I can't stop thinking about them," she muttered, withdrawing if possibly even more into herself. "But no matter how I twist and turn it, it's... it's the same thing. I don't want anyone else. So either way, I'll end up jealous of who else he might be seeing... and the only difference will be if I'm one of the crowd or not. Coughed, again, and wiped at her eyes, swollen and weeping, even without the tears. "A friend, maybe... I don't expect you to be able to fix this. I don't know if it can be fixed."
