Isuma had been woken by Rance's voice as well, and she hopped to her feet to shake away the remnants of her nap, reep?ing sleepily.
"That's one way to look at it," he said with a wry grin. "You must be new in town. Or... is that you, Rance?" he guessed, trying to reconcile the raven's mental voice with the one he'd just heard.
Then again, the excitable profanity might have been a clue, too.
