Fangorn, content in his sand bed and nest, eventually fell asleep. Melita gave a few scratches on the top of his visible head, before being drawn back into conversation and her lantern making. She tipped them both back and forth, pondering over what else to include, besides a little flame inside, and began to sketch an outline along the fringes of wood. Her eyes flickered back up to Oliver, shaking her head. “I don’t.” She glanced around, looking for the possible things scattered around the beaches and dunes. “I bet you could find something nearby though.” Maybe some fruit, berries, sticks, twigs, stones? Oliver should’ve been more than capable of figuring out those notions for himself.The other inquiries she could answer though. “At the end of the season. We’ll all gather and put the lanterns out. I don’t think you need anything else.” She couldn’t recall off the top of her head – naught but a candle within, to light the way.
