He watches her within his own silence, trying to figure out what she might be thinking while figuring out how the device worked, what it was like. Was it all just for that Loreseeker’s brain or was it merely a distraction? He can’t tell, nor does he particularly want to figure it out – doing his best to keep everything hidden and swallowed down. It works, relatively easily, and he’s thankful for it regardless.

Still, she picks it up pretty easily, and he raises a brow in quiet surprise and amusement, a slight smirk crossing his face as she hands it back to him. He takes it, rolling the lighter between his hand and palm a few times as he listens to her. “Ah, poor Libbs would have to be a working machine in order to keep up with everyone.” He rumbles with a quiet hum of a laugh that tickles his throat.

But he sighs and sets the lighter on top of the table as he keeps his eyes on it curiously. “Besides, legitimate businesses can be boring.” A small half smirk crossing his face as he glances to her and winks.
