Hotaru
Hotaru's smirk only sharpens at the woman's positive reaction, distinctly pleased with this turn of events. There are many beautiful women in the Grounds, and Hotaru fully intends on finding out which ones are receptive to her particular advances. One of which already has as she walks in on the heels of the man she'd expected already. Her eyes flit briefly to Wessex, but Sunjata is speaking and deserves her attention for a moment, and she gives him a genial look. "Of course I did, who do you take me for?" Far more teasing than any other negative inflection she could give it. Then her gaze turns to properly regard Wessex, giving her a coy smile and a wink in greeting, quite gratified to see her once more. Just as lovely and delicious as she remembered. Ah, but today is a day for sweat and hard work, and not in the fun way. Hotaru listens keenly to the tasks presented, reminded of her own shop's construction and the tedious nature of establishing a new functional building in a place like Caido. "I'll do the painting," she claims after Sunjata has put in his two cents, recalling the annoyingly back-breaking nature of clearing out debris from her efforts helping various others. She'll avoid that for now if she can. Plucking her materials from where they've been set, she gets to work - priming the walls by wiping away in residue or cobwebs with a rag. A difficult task with her height, but that's easily fixed with everything currently laying around. After helping Bastien so many times, the painting is second nature, and she dips her brush into the can and begins making the first strokes against the wall.
