What’s not to like about Hotaru, Wessex thinks to herself, though the imagines Weaver hasn’t had the pleasure of the blonde writhing on her tongue.
“It’s on the list of things to ask the Voice for…. Though admittedly the list is long and drinking is low priority,” she says with a chuckle. Along with the ability to feel the good sensations again. And on second thought, that might be higher than drinking. On third thought, maybe those are peace-time abilities, and as much as she hates to admit it, they aren’t exactly able to rest easily at the moment… Ugh. Duty.
Listening as Weaver lays out the tasks, she takes a look at the door that would lead to the back room and finds that she has no idea what would be suitable, so she speaks up with, “I’ll do the dirty work;” as if any of them doubted that she minded getting her hands either literally or proverbially dirty.
First, the demigoddess collects all the big pieces and tosses them out the front door, to be dealt with later. Anything that she can get her hands on that isn’t ‘furniture’ or useful - goes. Then, moving to grab a broom, Wessex goes through the familiar motions of sweeping up dirt, flaking paint, rodent bones, and all the other detriment that settles in an unused building. Once the major nasties are out, she takes a bucket of water and a mop or rag, rinsing the area and scrubbing at the more difficult spots until the bar begins to look halfway decent.
