Coughing slightly from the dust, Loren waved a hand in front of his face. After seeing the books begin to crumble he'd immediately stopped touching them, hoping that something could still be salvaged from them. Peering at the slightly cleaner room, he let his gaze get drawn to what might be a window, or might just be a wall decoration. It was hard to tell under the dirt and grime.
Frowning, he let the feathers dissipate. As skin rippled along his arms, he raised his hands. A carefully controlled torrent of water streamed out of him, washing the maybe-window as best her could (and sweeping up the ladybugs as he did so).
