So many wiggling eyebrows going about here. If the scene was sped up just a little they might be mistsken for flirtations. But the truth lay more along the lines of a pissing contest, a verbal king of the hill, where crossed arms and squared shoulders was second to the ability to shrug and smirk in the face of adversity. Faintly, Korbin recognized all this, and perhaps for the first time, a glint of true humor flashed through his eyes.
"My sister has peculiar tastes in people," he said, a sly little smirk ghosting over his mouth. "Like this strange dude who thinks of Caido as a bit of a vacation, but whines and cries about a little cold weather... And to think, he hasn't even experienced Deepfrost yet."
His stare at Sunjata was pointed, the smirk widening. Again there was a challenge, a dare perhaps... to stick around and prove he was worthy of this beautiful wasteland. And if not... then perhaps shut up and go home.
