There had been dragons aplenty on Jigano's world, all in different colors, similar yet different to Caido's many-hued menagerie. The sea dragons had been stories his mother had told, protectors of an ancestral homeland that the young Lore Oracle had never - and now would never - see. Ah well, he lamented with a sigh of cool air. Since this is Caido, they'd probably just try to eat us anyways. A brief not of pessimism that he determinedly shook off as he explored his ability to move through the water, paddling about like an overgrown dog and trying to find ways to make his wings less unwieldy in the brine.
Alas, Deimos couldn't dive to get away from his puns when they spoke on the Attuned link, and Jigano couldn't quite hide the hint of smugness at the groan issued forth to the sunny sea air. Maybe if he combined a vertial sweep of his tail with a partial 'flap' of his wings? There are cloud mantas that are flat, graceful beasts. They fly as well as swim, and they have jewels in their foreheads that can let one breathe underwater... unfortunataely, you have to kill them to get it. They're gentle beasts, but at least they're edible. So nothing went to waste. And the pink dolphins, like Amalia. Encantados, I believe they're called. I've seen a few pods from overhead when I've flown out to the Kuali'i Isles to train my fire magic. A place to start, if the General had more questions about either beast, though Jigano didn't know much more detail.
