He continues to shout the orders of getting to the beach through the Attuned bond, trying his best to lower his head and use it and his horns to try and create some boundary for him to break through the crowd and get over toward Nate.
It reminds him of the mud monster of Fiat Lux, but at least this time for now he can breathe. So he uses it to his advantage, attempting to carve a path out.
