The cold from Maea's lingering spirit dropped further, an unnatural chill running up his spine as she stepped through him. And though his soul remained and her blood colored his blade, perhaps the sensation of a ghost walking through him would be the piece that would help him understand. Or perhaps not. He seemed incapable of accepting his responsibility.
