Honestly, Ronin’s right. And Sunjata’s not sure exactly why it bothers him, but it does. Somewhere deep within, nagging at the senses of him always trying to do the right thing and somehow fucking it up in the process. So he hums an agreement, spying Ronin’s smile at the mention of Delphia that’s reflected off of his own face. “Exactly.” Raising the glass in a small mock toast, he sets it down without taking a sip – already swimming a small amount.
It certainly does make sense that it would be what he can do, what he thinks is right. Yet as Ronin thanks him for giving him a chance to talk, he nods and finds a small slight frown crossing his face. “Well, with the whole attuned talking, we can keep it up without her knowing.” He offers with a light smirk to that. “But I really can’t imagine. I’ve never… Wanted kids, not after how shit my upbringing was. Let alone being in a situation like yours.” He sighs, sliding the glass away. “You make a good father, Ronin. Just hold onto that and fuck what Safrin thinks. You do your best with the situation she stuck on you.” A bit more of a serious look crosses his stormy gaze. “And if she has a problem with it, it’s her problem.”
