Perhaps he’d gotten too soft or driven in the wrong way where their compatibility hadn’t aligned when she’d returned… It sparks some sort of clarity deep within that he pauses briefly in step, shoving his hands down into his pockets as he huffs a quiet sigh that sounds something like a weak attempt at a laugh. “I guess that’s true.” He offers unhelpfully, lips pursing briefly before his head lifts to look back toward Ronin.
