AISHA
and i knew
how could she not
how could she not
The stew sounded good enough, it certainly ticked some of her boxes and thus she felt satisfied with her questioning. Spices especially, she loved spice. And so finally she had no more stew questions, and she replied in a nod and soft smile.
Aisha blinked at his response, certain she'd heard wrong. He had to be joking, she even gave an quietly uncertain and somewhat incredulous laugh as he started to explain them further. About halfway through his descriptions of the three she realized that maybe he wasn't kidding at all, that he at least believed what he said was true. She leaned in a bit, lips tugged upwards though her brows were furrowed down. "You're not kidding are you?" she asked, something so ironically farcical about it all that she couldn't feel surprised.
Maybe come morning she'd have more qualms with his claims, but for now all she could do was take it in and hug her blanket tight.
