Well. Color her surprised. Evie certainly hadn't expected that to be very effective, but she's not going to look a gift horse in the mouth either. The dummies retreat back out of sight, the clicking and whirring a strange, ominous noise that makes her shudder as she tries to anticipate their next attack. The remaining handful she clutches is mostly thicker granules of dirt, but she doesn't want to waste time grabbing more. She'll simply have to try and be creative. As they're rushed once again she spins to try and pinpoint the location in the blinding snow, this time aiming the debris at the open spots between the joints to grind any mechanical aspects to a halt. And if that doesn't work, she reaches for the minimal amounts of earth beneath its feet, hoping to off balance it.
Evie turns 45 degrees clockwise! She tries to cast dirt into the gears and pull on what's beneath its feet to make it fall.
