Before he had much of a chance to react, Rance was responding back with his own question. "I'm in... a unique situation myself. I'm missing a lot of my memories. When I arrived, all I really had was my first name. Overtime, things have come back... but right now? I don't know. I remember Selkies because sailors told tales of them, but otherwise I couldn't tell you." His voice became soft once more. It wasn't fun to explain and often, people apologized or felt bad.
