"You can do magic, change into multiple animals I've never seen, and've had a god speak to you? 'Boring' doesn't fuckin' fit into that list, Oliver." Rance shook his head, baffled by what could either very bold false modesty or an incredible lack of self-awareness.
He gestured with one hand toward Oliver as if to encompass all of him in the movement. "I might still be learnin' what's 'normal' around here, but nothin' about what you just said is at all fuckin' borin'."
