Loren let out a huff of laughter. "Maybe. Forgive me if I'm not holding my breath." Giving Neron a rueful smile, the healer rubbed a nervous hand on his thigh.
"In the interest of, you know, open communication a friend of mine died recently. So I'm...not at my best." He kept his gaze trained straight ahead, not meeting the Warden's gaze. "I'm taking better care of myself this time though." The words were spoken in a soft tone.
"That's one way to put it." The younger twin hesitated, then gave his older brother a serious look. "I would've missed you, you know. So don't you dare think about it again." Despite the heated words, Loren's tone was gently concerned.
However, when Neron mentioned visiting the Voice, the healer inspected the Warden more closely. "I see." The younger twin shrugged. "Guess we'll have to make sure there are shutters on all the windows, then." Entirely unbothered by this revelation, he just kept following his older brother to whatever destination they were aiming for.
