"The more we experience and grow the more our souls do the same, I think. The more they stretch and the Attuned blessing expands to fill the space, changing and growing with us." He exhaled slowly, looking down at the lily he had created with a pang, knowing Maea would have understood about magic, even if she hadn't known the joy of an animal shift. "The magic here is... slower to grow. Usually. Except when it spikes. And there's not always a sense of recognition with it, the way there is with the shifts." He shrugged.
