She did it with men and with gods, and though Frey wouldn't fault her for it, they did think she'd be a good deal happier if she simply allowed the world to exist on its own.

The small kitten trotted towards Phoebe. His hackles were raised and he ftt ftt ftttt in her direction despite seeming happy enough in her presence. Perhaps he was getting used to life, or perhaps he was a bit of an ornery thing. Only time would tell.
"As a midwife...your services might be better used in Torchline. There was one a brothel, but its been...well, ignored. But that doesn't mean its workers have. Not all are female of course, but then midwifery isn't limited to just delivery babies, now is it." Frey expected Phoebe to be surprised perhaps by this suggestion. After all, though she wasn't a prude anymore, a brothel was a far cry from the white-walled college of medicine she'd set up for herself. Even so, it might be just what she needed. A world that didn't much care for how she wanted things, people who needed her without the addition of judgement or Phoebe's feelings...
