At first, things are going well. Suspiciously well. So it doesn’t come as a surprise when things start to go south, grabbing nests and beginning to dispose of them. And when he reaches the next nest, it feels considerably heavier – a pause as he considers checking in it and seeing why it seems different… Only, he can’t get that far, not as a large shriek is heard, large wings, of an eagle that reminds him of Deimos in a way but the colors are wrong and the rest of it seems relatively large – that he breathes a sigh of relief before he takes action.
He has a few choices, to try and seem less threatening but be unable to move the creature… Or become a predator and take a shot at trying not to eat the poor chick in the nest. So he chooses the other option, to become less threatening as he shifts from man to macaw, navy feathers dropping across the floor where he stood before, trying to back away from the claws of the raptor – panic setting in of the prey form as he moves to dart around and try to get the eagle to chase him away from the nest. If he manages that, he'll shift to his panther form away from the nest, to growl and hiss at the eagle to hopefully get it to leave.
