The immense relief that surrounds him as soon as the eagle doesn’t go on the attack again is huge, and he can’t help but to exhale a long sigh of relief – turning just as Nate appears and comments with a joke that all Sunjata can respond to is an exasperated roll of his eyes as he grabs some of the vines and nests as well to help Nate carry them downstairs. “I’d be glad if I didn’t have to encounter one again.” He rumbles, though there’s a small smile that crosses his face with that.
But then, seeing as they’re downstairs and the rest of the debris from upstairs disposed of, he finds himself pulling at his shirt a small amount to remove it from the dirt of the vines and the roof, moving to stand beside Nate as the Ascended pulls out a bottle and some glasses – taking one gladly, before toasting it up and tipping it back, hissing against the sharpness of this specific alcohol. “Wouldn’t have missed it.” He winks through the pleasant burn to his throat.
