It's surprising how malleable Delphine is to his requests, to the instructions they both give out. Surprising, and a little worrying. Nate isn't used to such easy compliance from junkies, which makes things a little more complicated. He's glad Sunjata moves to refill the glass, glad when she drinks, because it gives him a chance to look over what she'd taken again. And then sigh.
Nate waits until she's finished, settled with the glass back on the counter before he leans into her line of vision, clearing his throat. "So, I'm not going to lecture you, or anything. I don't care what you were doing, and I don't care why. Just... next time you wanna do anything, make sure you have someone to watch over you, okay?" It's the most sensible advice he can think of to offer, and even if it's ignored he can say he tried.
"We can take you to see Remi though. Or... to his house, and get a bed or something set up. It's late right now, I think he'll be sleeping." As he offers, Nate watches her face, her reactions. hoping she'll accept what he says now as easily as everything else.
