Nate doesn’t say what it is, but Sunjata steals a glance toward it anyway — curious and still immensely confused, but bites his tongue to keep from asking — turning his attention to Delphine and Nate, biting down on the inside of his cheek as it comes about.
Nate mentions that Remi might indeed be home, but sleeping and Sunjata wonders how that would work out having originally thought the Alchemist had been out that night — so instead, he turns his attention to the idea of getting her set up on the porch for whomever stumbled across her next could deal with her. So he reaches out to squeeze Nate’s shoulder once more, slipping by to grab a couple of older blankets he’d stashed away and a pillow, returning to set the bundle off to the side. “We can get you set up and you can sleep it off, okay?” He adds in, turning to glance between her and Nate.
