She should have known better than to realize that it might be a distraction – to have a griffin on the beach, when he only knew of one other person with one. So it should have come as no surprise that the stranger that walks by mentions something about it as Sunjata’s hand trails through the griffin’s fur once more. “Yep, that she is.” He replies easily, moving to tug a stray tuft of fur that stuck out in a strange place along her wing joint where the feathers started to sprout as his gaze lifts to meet the man’s.
It’s no surprise that they’re not well known, once again.
And there’s a small smirk that crosses Sunjata’s face at this, a dip of his head as the stranger stops a bit closer but still far enough away to be considered polite. “She’s half wolf, half magpie.” He rumbles, moving her a bit to lift her head and let her green gaze settle on the stranger – a feathered and fuzzy tail bumps against the sand with the eyes that roam over the stranger. Her wings flare, showing the specks of white mixed in with the iridescent hues, a toothy canine grin from her panting offered as well with a hint of smoke behind it. “She can breathe fire.” And that’s mostly it, unless the stranger has much else to add to the questions. As far as Sunjata’s concerned, that’s all that really does need to be known.
