Honestly, the little grin that Weaver gives him does alleviate some of the fear within him. The fact that she liked them does too — even if it still made the anxiety eat at his stomach. This is when his gaze lifts finally, focusing on the idea of taking one. But the idea of a partner has him somewhat worried, and he moves to his own wall internally hoping that nobody else joins him. He’s not good at small talk no matter how much he tries to be.
