Do you feel her within you, memories and lives so closely entwined you could strum notes on the strings of them?
She flashes you a look of fury, her ears pinned to her head. She is angry in her agony, raging against a cruel world in which she never stood a chance. But she is distracted, too, looking away quickly, turning her attention to something precious which shelters against her other side.
