The battle continues. The leader falls beneath the weight of Zariah and Loren while the cultists shriek and burn. She can smell the fire on their skin, that horrible stench of burning flesh. She knows it well, but usually they are already dead. Morgan rises on a wave of water, cutting off Weaver’s line of sight slightly, but it doesn’t matter. Weaver can see the fire anyway as Zariah works to grow it as well.
Weaver stays behind the snow drift as the cultists charge the lightning cage, trying to get through. She focuses only on the flames, growing the fire and throwing fireballs through the cultists, trying to keep them burning. Hopefully they would fall to the fire before they found a way through Zariah’s cage, but the unicorn horn stays in her hands, ready for use. Though this time, she shifts slightly, finding a way to hold both the horn and the scythe, just in case.
