Finally,Morgan's cries for help are heard, and Loren charges over with the mageglass pendant in his possession. The healer will feel its siren song as he floods the captain with restorative energy. It's like he is supercharged, like he can do anything, and the wonder of it is giddying.
Elsewhere, cultists burn and crackle. With growing fire and lances of lightning spearing them at all angles, their shrieks fill the air - and yet, they do not for a moment consider fleeing. No, some of them turn instead to the easy prey - Morgan's guards. And regrettably, with no healing given, they perish in the cold and the ice.
