Josh was engrossed in his work when there was a shout up the stairs. He leaned back from the table with a flat, annoyed expression; this was the one part of his new home he was not fond of. Back in his desert trailer, he had been able to go for days without anyone even knowing he existed. Here it seemed every twenty minutes someone was coming for a hike up the Spire.
