Instead, a disappointed sigh flickered through her lungs, out into the vestiges and ether of the party, though what the disgruntled fixtures could be paramount to wasn’t readily known (for him being wounded, or that he constantly put himself in those ranges). Then she brightened and blistered, opting out of spiraling into some configuration of angst and melancholy, a bitter twist to her jaw – the ebullient grin, etched in barbaric devilry, resounded and remained. “You let them get the better of you?” A tilt of her head, more sprite, more nymph, more conflagrations embedded between stalwart gazes and gilded formations. “Maybe we shouldn’t let you dance after all.” A wrinkle to her nose indicating she was partially kidding; if he was hurt or in danger of making everything worse, she’d make sure Sunjata stayed on the sidelines.

Nate’s reappearance allowed her attention to deviate, both brows rising as she watched the interplay between Ascended and Dark Star, waiting for something to happen, there to fan the flames or douse the embers. Except Nate seemed to handle it far better than she expected, and there was a shrug to her shoulders through it all, a grateful smile on her lips as she took the offered drink.

Ronin was already a bit far gone – and didn’t expect the attention to swing towards her. Taking a swig of her beverage, the youth laughed, an acceptance already on her lips. “Of course,” a pathetic form of a curtsy followed, along with an ebullient, exuberant laugh. She handed her drink to Sunjata, a wink presiding there, before subsequently leaping, bounding, and dragging Ronin along.
