Noah's words were comforting, particularly as he did not try to excuse Morgan's guilt, not at the moment: she didn't want to hear it right now, needing to feel angry and stupid for a while before she could be more calm around the situation. Looking up to Noah, she was surprised to see a glint of tears in his eyes; she had cried all she had years ago and was not used to dealing with emotion.
