As he tucks her close, she leans against him, pulling her legs up and over his so she can snuggle against his chest. There’s nothing else to say, when the topics of Halo die down. She doesn’t want to think about those she lost and moreover, all the things she nearly lost. She just wants to move past it, but that would be no easy thing to do.
