While Sam was thankful for Sunjata keeping Haai back, he inwardly groaned as he decided to settle down. The last thing he wanted right now was someone close enough to watch all his little stutters and stops, his insecurity writ large all over his body now that the Voice had ripped away the shields he had built up over the years.
He was too preoccupied with his own pathetic image to notice Sunjata's hand or the scars he touched beneath his shirt. Sam chewed at his lip while he considered the question and how best to answer, given who Sunjata was (and more importantly, how close he was to a certain someone). "...If...if I t-tell you, you can't tell...can't tell Naa-Nate." He said first, staring hard at the other man, making it clear this was a boundary he meant.
