But the shirt’s lowered and he’s listening to Sam before he shrugs lightly. “I dealt with much worse back home and I’m still breathing.” He flashes a wink toward Sam before settling on his heels a bit. “Take a bit more than a rogue knife to the gut to take me out, I think.” Perhaps it’s arrogant to assume so, but gods he’s hoping that when he does go its for a far more interesting reason.
