Of all the things Sam could say, the last thing Sunjata expects to hear is the question of execution. Something deeper within him begins to recoil with the thought, only outwardly seen as a small sigh escaping his lips. “Prison stays.” He offers by explanation, not particularly planning on killing anyone, unless of course there was no other way. Subtly, he wonders if that’s better suited toward Remi’s abilities and his connections to Ludo – perhaps something to bring up one day.
For today, however, he focuses a bit more on the comment of Nate – of him not being happy that he’d returned home that way. And honestly, Nate hadn’t been happy. Sunjata’s easy smile that crosses his face falters ever so slightly as he lifts his head to focus on Sam a bit more intensely. “He did stitch it.” He offers, wondering if it were that obvious that it was Nate’s skill that had done it or the fact that it was just an assumption based off of his connection to the doctor. “But no… He wasn’t happy about it.” He hums a bit quieter, though it’s not like it was a make or break it conversation.
Lots of anxieties and terror, but once it was over they were okay… At least for a little bit.
